Aika Miura (三浦あいか, Miura Aika) is a popular and award-winning Japanese AV idol who made a clear mark on the AV industry. In a remarkably long and prolific career for an AV actress, she released an average of one film a month over a seven year period-- excepting 1998-- before she retired in 2002.
Aika was born to a conservative family in Kanagawa Prefecture, Japan on November 2, 1975. Though her family did not approve of her working in the AV industry, they remained close to her throughout her career.
Miura made her AV debut on KUKI's Tank label in the March 1995 release I Love You, Summer Memory (September 1995) was in the popular but controversial exhibitionistic genre of Japanese adult video which would later earn AV actress Asuka Yuki an arrest a decade later.

AIKA Freak, released the following month, included scenes of outdoor group sex.

Alice Japan's Inhumanity (December 1997), had Miura in the role of a newlywed bride who suffers from amnesia after being hit by a car. Nine different men claim to be her husband, and she must perform fellatio on each one to find out who the real groom is. They all turn out to be imposters when the real husband shows up and the video concludes with Miura engaging in sex with him.
